Payout day

The notification no bank sends.

Every ~two weeks, the Stacks protocol pays Stackers in real Bitcoin. Perch watches the chain so the moment your payout confirms, your phone lights up — with sats, not points.

  • Payout landed — in sats, the moment it confirms
  • Cycle opening and closing reminders
  • Unlock ahead — never miss an extend
  • Idle-STX nudge: “you’re leaving sats on the table”

What would your STX earn?

Assumes ≈ 1,279 sats per STX. Yield floats with each cycle and pool — the app shows realized yield from actual payout history, never a marketing number.

Perch v1 · Watch

Everything the job needs. Nothing else.

01

Any address. Ten seconds.

Paste an STX address — or just a .btc name — and get the full picture: liquid vs. locked, cycle progress, projected sats.

02

Payouts, not promises.

Every reward shown is BTC that actually landed, counted in sats. Realized yield from your own history — never marketing APY.

03

Your Lock Screen knows first.

A cycle ring on the Lock Screen, lifetime sats on the Home Screen, and a Live Activity for the final blocks before payout.

04

Alerts that earn their place.

Payout landed. Cycle closing. Unlock ahead. And the one that matters most: your STX is idle and leaving sats on the table.

05

.btc native.

BNS names resolve everywhere — watchlist, search, sharing. Your on-chain name is your identity, not a 41-character string.

06

No account. No keys. No tracking.

v1 is watch-only: nothing to sign, nothing to lose, nothing to phish. When you’re ready to act, v2 adds a Secure Enclave wallet.

Stacking, plainly

Lock. Earn. Land.

01

Lock

STX holders lock their tokens to help secure the network. That’s Stacking — Stacks’ native consensus role, with a capital S.

02

Earn

Each ~two-week cycle, Bitcoin flows from miners to Stackers. Not a wrapped token, not an IOU — BTC, on the Bitcoin chain.

03

Land

Perch watches the chain and lights up when your payout hits. The ring fills, the notification lands, the sats stay.

Honest math, always: yields float cycle to cycle and pool to pool — historically roughly 5–10% APY. Perch shows your realized number, computed from payouts that actually happened.

Where this goes

Watch first. Then act.

v1 · in build

Watch

Watch-only dashboards, payout history, widgets, Live Activities, and alerts. Zero key risk, for anyone with an STX address.

v2

Act

Create or import a wallet — keys behind the Secure Enclave, Face ID to sign — and start earning with one tap. No browser, no extension.

v3

Earn more

Premium analytics, benchmarks, and tax export — plus the sBTC side, so BTC holders can put Bitcoin to work too.

For builders

Powered by StacksKit.

Perch runs on StacksKit — a fully native Swift SDK for Stacks: transaction construction, signing, broadcast, and the PoX stacking client, written the way Swift wants it written. Open source, arriving alongside the app.

stackskit.dev · coming with the beta

import StacksKit

let client = StacksClient.mainnet
let status = try await client.stacking
    .status(for: "maya.btc")

Questions

Fair asks.

Is Perch a wallet?

Not in v1 — and that’s the point. v1 is watch-only: it reads public on-chain data for any address you give it, so there is nothing to sign and nothing to lose. A full self-custody wallet (Secure Enclave, Face ID) arrives in v2 for people who want to act, not just watch.

Is this custodial? Do you ever touch my funds?

Never. Perch v1 holds no keys at all. And Stacking itself is non-custodial by protocol design — locked STX sits in the protocol’s contract under your keys, not anyone else’s.

What exactly is Stacking?

Stacking is Stacks’ consensus mechanism: STX holders lock tokens to help secure the network, and in return receive Bitcoin paid by miners each ~two-week reward cycle. It’s the only major protocol whose native reward is actual BTC.

Where do the numbers come from?

Public Stacks chain data via public APIs. Rewards shown are payouts that actually confirmed, counted in sats. Projections are clearly labeled as projections, and the yield you see for your address is realized — computed from your history, not a promotional APY.

What does Perch cost?

v1 is free. Later, an optional premium tier adds multi-address analytics, benchmarks, and tax export. Protocol rewards are yours — Perch never sits between you and your BTC.
