Perch · Privacy Policy

We collect nothing.

Effective August 15, 2026 · SparrowTek LLC

Perch is watch-only software. It has no accounts, no sign-ups, no analytics, no advertising, and no tracking of any kind. We built it so there would be nothing to collect — this page exists to say exactly that, precisely.

What stays on your device

None of it is sent to SparrowTek. We operate no servers for Perch and hold no user data. Standard iOS device backups (if you have them enabled) are governed by Apple, not us.

What leaves your device

Camera

If you scan a QR code to add an address, frames are processed on your device by Apple's scanner solely to read the code. No image is stored or transmitted.

Notifications

Alerts (cycle closing, unlock ahead, idle-STX nudge) are computed and scheduled entirely on your device. Perch has no push servers.

Widgets and Siri

Widgets and the "Bitcoin earned" Shortcut read a snapshot the app stores in its own App Group container on your device. That data never leaves it.

App Store and TestFlight

If you install Perch through the App Store or TestFlight and have chosen to share diagnostics with developers, Apple may provide us aggregated, de-identified crash reports and statistics under Apple's privacy policy. We receive nothing that identifies you.

What we never do

Changes

If a future version of Perch ever changes any of the above, this page will change first, with a new effective date, before that version ships.
